Adolph Thornton, Jr., aka Young Dolph, is making his mark in the rap game. He started rapping at the age of 22 when he was inspired by his near-death experience in a drive-by shooting accident, his parents’ drug addiction, and his grandmother’s death. He released his first mixtape Paper Route Campaign in 2008 and it proved to be a hit.
He continued to release more hits, being featured on O.T. Genasis’ single “Cut It” in 2015 anf then dropping his debut studio album King of Memphis in 2016. The former reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the latter reached number 49 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Talent definitely runs in the family, as he was cousins with “Lucid Dreams” rapper Juice Wrld (RIP).
Besides being related to gifted rappers (and being one himself), he may also just be an expert dresser.
