General Hospital star Tyler Christopher has died at age 50.

Tyler Christopher was married twice

The General Hospital actor was married to Eva Longoria from 2002 to 2004.

In 2008, he married former ESPN reporter Brienne Pedigo, whom he shares two children with.

Tyler and Brienne reportedly divorced in 2021.

Tyler also was reportedly engaged to his General Hospital co-star Vanessa Marcil and dated Natalia Livingston.

General Hospital was the actor's 'first job'

"General Hospital was my first acting job,” Tyler once revealed in an interview with Digital Journal.

“My first day was a little scary because I was new and I didn’t really know what I was doing, and I had a lot of dialogue."

In my first day, I thought everyone would judge me and I would get fired but I got through it because I was prepared, and it ended up being great," he shared.

General Hospital executive producer pays tribute

Frank Valentini, the executive producer for General Hospital, paid tribute to Tyler Christopher on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"I am heartbroken over the news of Tyler Christopher’s passing," the EP wrote.

"He was kind, an incredible actor and a dear friend, who was beloved by our #GH family and fans of Nikolas Cassadine."

The statement concludes: "On behalf of everyone at @GeneralHospital, our heartfelt sympathies go out to his loved ones during this difficult time."

Survived by two children

Tyler is survived by his two kids, Greysun and Boheme.

The actor shared the kids with his ex-wife Brienne Pedigo.

Known for his role on General Hospital

The longtime TV actor played Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital from 1996 to 2016.

He also spent a season as Stefan DiMera on Days of Our Lives.

Both roles led the actor to rack up five Emmy nominations.
